Questions about this tour
Do I need any tickets?
No. Every stop is outdoors or free to enter. The catacombs in St. Peter’s Cemetery have their own hours and a small admission fee, and they are optional.
Is the route step-free?
Almost. The walk is close to level, with about 400 meters of cobblestones, loose gravel on one square, and two steps at a cemetery gate. The abbey courtyard should let you avoid the steps, but we have not yet checked that on site.
When is a good time to go?
Any time the cemetery is open: it closes at 6 p.m. from October to March and at 8 p.m. from April to September. During the summer festival and the Christmas market, the Domplatz is partly blocked.
What can I do after the walk?
The walk ends on the Mozartsteg footbridge. Across the River starts at the other end of the same bridge.

How it was made
