Paris self-guided walking tours
Audio walks you take at your own pace, on your own phone: audio, text, a map and pictures, all working offline. Each one follows a different question through Paris.
This is a self-guided smartphone experience. No human guide will meet you. Start when you want, pause whenever you like, explore side streets, and go at your own pace.

Which walk is for you?
- Paris After Dark: Bones, Gallows and Alchemists. A duke’s tower and the murder behind it, a cemetery emptied by night, a king stabbed in a traffic jam, the square of the gallows, and an alchemist who never made gold. 9 stops, about 90 minutes, 2.5 km (1.6 mi). Carries a content advisory.
- Montmartre: Saints, Painters and the Commune. A saint’s legend, the first Jesuits, Picasso, Van Gogh and Renoir, the morning the Commune began, and the white basilica Paris still argues about. 10 stops, about 95 minutes, 2.7 km (1.7 mi). Carries a content advisory.
- Where Paris Began: the Island, the Cathedral and the Kings. A Gaulish town, a palace that became a prison, a crown of thorns, a cathedral that burned and rose again, and the oldest tree in Paris, on a near-loop round the Île de la Cité. 10 stops, about 100 minutes, 3.4 km (2.1 mi). Carries a content advisory.
