How it works
This is a self-guided smartphone experience. No human guide will meet you. Start when you want, pause whenever you like, explore side streets, and go at your own pace.
Before you go
- Your access email. After booking you receive an email from [email protected] with a link and an access code.
- Open it on your phone. The tour opens in your phone’s browser. There is no app-store download and no account to set up before you start. You can add it to your home screen if you like.
- Download on Wi-Fi. Download the tour before you go, ideally on hotel or home Wi-Fi. After that, audio, text, map and pictures all work offline.
- Share with your group. Your booking includes 2 phones, and you can add extra phones for $2.95 each, or share one phone on its speaker. The code works as soon as you book, so you can download before your trip.
On the day
- Go to the start. Each tour page says where it begins and how to find it.
- The narration is read by an AI-generated voice. Play each stop when you get there. Pause, replay, skip back and ahead, or change the playback speed whenever you like.
- Wander off whenever you like, sit down for a coffee, and come back to the audio when you are ready.
- Keep the screen on while you listen, or tap play at each stop.

Staying safe
Every tour starts with a short word about safety. With earbuds in, you may not hear everything around you, so it is worth keeping one ear on the street. Look both ways before you cross, and stop walking before you look at your screen.
