Copyright and DMCA Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026.
The3DTravel.com respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same of everyone who uses our tours, apps and website. Our tours are researched and written by us, and the images we use are our own, in the public domain, or used under their licenses, with credit shown in the app. If you believe something we publish infringes your copyright, please tell us and we will look into it promptly.
How to send a copyright notice
Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it: the tour name, the stop, and the text, image or audio in question, or a link.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

What happens next
When we receive a notice that includes the information above, we will:
- Review it and investigate the material it identifies.
- If we find the notice accurate, or while we investigate where the law calls for it, remove or disable access to the material identified.
- Where the material was provided by someone else (for example a traveler contribution), let that person know it was removed and send them a copy of the notice, so they can respond.
- Keep a record of the notice and of what we did.
We respond within 30 days, or as allowed under the DMCA.
Counter notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send our copyright agent a counter notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which The3DTravel.com may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter notice, we will forward it to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
We will end the accounts or contribution rights of people who repeatedly infringe others’ copyrights, in appropriate circumstances.
Please be accurate
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter notice may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether something infringes your rights, please consider seeking legal advice first.
